Wolverhampton: Re:Dress

  • St. Peter's Collegiate Church Lich Gates Wolverhampton, WV1 1TY (map)

The huge growth of ‘Fast Fashion’ - the reproduction of highly fashionable clothes at high speed and low cost, which is often only worn a few times and then ends up in landfill, has profound human and environmental consequences.

To raise awareness of this, Lichfield Diocese will be turning St Peter’s Church into a catwalk.

The evening will include a fashion show, where people will model clothes from local charity shops along with a market-place and clothes swap, spoken word pieces and bible readings.

Your entry price includes drinks and nibbles. Any profits from the evening will go to Hope at Home, who support UK victims of Modern Slavery.

Please bring with you an item of clothing to swap with others. Any left over clothes will be donated to Warm Welcome and Good Shepherd.
