We will be running two training sessions in the Diocese of Truro on November 30.
This first one will be in Centenary Wesley Church in Camborne from 10am - 12.30pm.
These events, which will be led by our Project Officer Caroline Virgo, will focus on training resources for community organisations and churches to help them engage safely and professionally with situations where they may encounter modern slavery.
The sessions will look at resources relevant to those working with vulnerable groups in outreach services like food banks, drop-in centres, and homeless shelters. There will also be the opportunity to think about how safeguarding fits in to the modern slavery agenda.
