As we move into a new phase of The Clewer Initiative, we’ve decided it’s time to grow! We are recruiting for two posts: a Development Officer and a Business Support Officer. Find out more about each role below.
If you think one is for you, head to the Church of England's Pathways portal to find out more. But don't dawdle, the deadline to apply is Friday 30th August.
Are you experienced in community development and passionate about ending modern slavery? Are you committed to reflective learning, and a proactive and creative problem solver? Then this might be the role for you. You'll need to have a good understanding of the Church of England, particularly around safeguarding procedures and to be happy to travel as this role will require you to be out of the office 2-3 days a week.
This role is an exciting opportunity to work across two organisations: The Clewer Initiative and our sister organisation the Anglican Alliance. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of business support and customer service in the context of The Clewer Initiative. We want you to set up and then maintain office systems for a dynamic project with multiple stakeholders. You will be committed to working collaboratively in a small team, have experience of working with volunteers within a church context, and know your way around data systems.
If you have any questions about either of the roles, please direct them to the Church of England recruitment team. You can email them here. We look forward to receiving your application.
